Working a Ticket

Starting a ticket

When you arrive on site:

  1. Open the ticket from Today's Jobs
  2. Tap Start Ticket
  3. RoundTrip will request your location — allow this so the dispatcher can see you on the map
  4. The ticket status changes to In Progress

Putting a ticket on hold

If you need to pause work:

  1. Tap Hold
  2. Select a reason:
  • Waiting for Parts
  • Waiting for Approval
  • Rescheduled
  • Customer Not Home
  1. Tap Put On Hold

Your dispatcher will be notified. Tap Resume when you are ready to continue.

Completing a ticket

When the job is done:

  1. Tap Complete Job
  2. Enter a completion note describing what was done (minimum 10 characters)
  3. Tap Mark Complete

The ticket is marked as completed and your dispatcher can generate an invoice.

:::important
Always enter a detailed completion note — it becomes part of the permanent job record and helps with invoicing and future service calls.
