How to Invite a Team Member


Adding technicians, dispatchers, and other team members to RoundTrip takes less than a minute. Once invited, they'll receive an email with instructions to set up their account and log in.



Who can invite team members?


Only TenantAdmin users can invite new team members.



Steps


  1. Log in to RoundTrip at roundtrips.app
  2. Click Team in the left navigation
  3. Click Invite Team Member in the top right
  4. Enter the team member's name and email address
  5. Select their role:
  • Dispatcher — access to the dispatch board, tickets, clients, and inventory
  • Technician — access to the technician mobile app (PWA) for their assigned jobs
  • Billing Staff — access to invoicing and billing
  • Read Only — view-only access across the app
  1. Click Send Invite


The team member will receive a welcome email with a link to set up their account. Once they accept the invitation and log in, they'll appear as active in your Team list.



What happens next?


  • Technicians will be able to log in at roundtrips.app on any device or add it to their home screen as an app
  • Dispatchers will have full access to the dispatch board and ticket management
  • You can manage team members (edit roles, deactivate) from the Team page at any time



Troubleshooting


The team member didn't receive the invitation email

  • Ask them to check their spam or junk folder
  • Make sure the email address was entered correctly — you can re-invite from the Team page
  • If the issue persists, contact us via the chat widget or at support@roundtrips.app


The invitation link expired

  • Invitation links expire after 7 days. Go to Team → find the pending invite → Resend Invitation.
